QUOTE WOOD BLOCKS

Hubby had some 2 x 4 left over so I decided to steal them and make these little quote blocks.
I had him cut them at different sizes starting with 8" for the bottom 7", 6" and ending with 5' for the top one. He then glued them in place so they would not shift. Spray painted them black and I went to work on creating the SCAL svg file to cut with my cutter.

I am sharing the file below but you will need SCAL (Sure cuts a lot)

Click below to get the svg SCAL file.

I love this next Quote block and it is a quote I made up. It just sounded right together.

12 x 12 MOTHERS DAY TILES

Mothers day is right around the corner so I wanted to make a couple tiles to be placed in the consignment store I have my items at "Works of Heart". I found the beautiful grey tile at Lowes and just new I would have to use the white vinyl. It worked perfect as it is just stunning. The pictures do not truly did them any justice. My camera is also not doing so well or it could be me the picture taker. I will need to research and learn how to take a better picture of my products.

Below are the two JPG files I created to import into "SCAL" or "Make the Cut"
To import just click on the trace icon at the top of the program, find the file and click on okay. The image has now been converted to an svg file for you to cut in your cutter. ENJOY!!!

Here is a youtube video on how to trace in SCAL

Here is a youtube video on how to trace in "Make the Cut"

BELOW ARE THE TWO JPG FILES FOR YOU TO ENJOY AND MAKE YOUR OWN CREATIONS FOR MOTHERS DAY

Click on the above and below images and it will bring you to another page of just the image. Right click and save as the file name you want to your hard drive. I created a special folder for all my jpg files to be traced.

IMPORTANT: Images are not to be used for commercial use or to be included in any sets. they are to be used only for personal use.

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CUPCAKES

I was going to make a chocolate Mousse pie to bring to my sisters for Easter dinner and I total forgot to buy the chocolate crumb crust. So i had to come up with something I had in the house already. I had a box of Dark Chocolate cake mix and the ingredients to make the mousse. I decided to make cupcakes with Chocolate mousse frosting. YUM!!!!

I of course could not just leave it at that I had to also embellish the cupcakes as I am a big fan of Cupcake Wars and just  had to try my hand at a display (mind you my display is on a much smaller scale. Lets say by at least 760 cupcakes short)

The chocolate Mousse is made from the Hershey recipe I have in one of their little recipe book.
You can also find the RECIPE HERE at the Hershey's site.

I found the "Bubbles Cupcake Wrappers" at "IMAGES BY HEATHER" and the Butterfly at "SVG CUTS"

The Toppers were created by printing out some Biblical Phrases and punching Card Stock with my 1 1/4" scallop punch. I adhered them to toothpicks with sticky dots.

CHRISTMAS STOCKING GIFT BOXES

Each one of my coworkers received one of these cute little stockings filled with my white/dark chocolate bark. I cut the svg stocking file I found at "Images by Heather M" (click on her name to get the free file)on my cricut cutter. First I cut the color card stock I wanted the stocking to be then I did the printed paper I wanted to be the print for the stocking.

The box is made by cutting card stock 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 score 1 1/2 all 4 sides. Cut the slits on all 4 corners and assemble the box. I used a template I created from a stoking for exact placement on both sides of the stocking for the box so that I did not have to keep placing it and taking it off. I did this by cutting an extra stocking shape, centering a box and tracing around it on the stocking. I cut the traced box shape out and used as my template.

The Fan ornament was created from a 1 x 12 strip of card stock and scoring at every 1/4 of an inch. I finished it of with the CTMH stamp set Holiday Greetings and attached it to the stocking with ribbon and gold wire trim.

CHOCOLATE BARK RECIPE
1 Package White Chocolate Morsels
1 Package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
6 Dark Chocolate Dove pieces
6 White Chocolate Ghiradelle pieces

I take and melt all my chocolate at the same time using double boilers
Place all the white chocolate in one boiler and all the dark in another. Once all melted pour 3/4 of the dark chocolate in a lined cookie sheet. You can use parchment paper or aluminum foil. Spread the chocolate throughout the whole pan. Now drop spoon fulls of the white chocolate on top every 2-3 inches apart throughout the whole pan. Take a knife and swirl the white Chocolate in with the dark. Top off with the remaining Dark Chocolate by drizzling it over  the other two layers. Finish with some of your favorite Christmas Jimmies.

Refrigerate for 2 hours. Once chilled take it out and break it apart into little bite size pieces. I then chill it once again to harden as it can go soft while breaking it.

SISTERS TILES

My sister are by far (outside of DH) my BEST FRIENDS!!! I have been blessed to have 3 beautiful sisters whom I am very close to. Oh YES we squabble at times and have a matter of different opionions but in the end it's out differences that keep us so close. I love working with my cricut cutter and Word art that I create or I find that allows being used with my cricut. I cut this svg file with SCAL 2 and cut it out to fit a 9 3/4 x 7 3/4 tile. After I adhered the vinyl I then used stazon ink and stamps to finish off the personal touch of each tile. Each one is tailored to each sister. The butterflys are a retired set from stampin up and the fairies are from Inkadinkadoo.

THANKSGIVING GOODY BOXES

Every year I create some type of goody boxes filled with treats for my co-works. This year they will be getting Ferrero Rocher & Ferrero Rondnoir Chocolates & Homemade Fudge.

ROCHER FERRERO FAVOR BOX
I created the Ferreo box to put (3) chocolates in (2) of the Rocher & (1) Rondnoir. I created the cut SCAL file in SCAL 2. I then cut out the leaves using my big kick and some leaves dies that I had. The acetate on the top is cut to the same width as the top cover. I placed the button in the middle of the leaves with a sticky dot and then punched the whole with a piercing tool so that I could bring the ribbon through a tie a bow.

Scoring
across the 6 1/4 you will start at the end that doesnt have the cut out leaves as that is the top of the box
Score @ 1 3/8, 2 1/2, 4 1/8, 5 1/2
Turn the 6 7/8 length and score each end 1 3/8
TOP VIEW

FUDGE BOX

The box below was created to put 3 small bags of fudge in for my co-workers. It will be filled with Orange cream, Pumpkin Fudge & Peanut Butter Fudge. I used the leave cut out from the box for the Tag. The clear acetate is a piece measured 3 x 4 1/2 and adhered to the inside of the box. Tie it off with ribbon and the tag and it is good to go.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION ON ASSEMBLING THE BOXES JUST DROP ME A COMMENT OR EMAIL.

ASHLEE ROSE

I spent most of the afternoon today working on this frame stand and scrap page to be placed on it. I used Bazzil Card Stock and cut the Scroll Frame SCAL File I created 3 times. I adhered each layer with Crystal Effects to give it stability.

The flowers were created using my Cricut Cutter and the Cartridge Plantin Schoolbook that I also used to create the two stamped tags.

I stamped the butterfly's with a stampin up set I have and cut them out so that I could then add glimmer misting spray I made with my pearl ex, glue and water. I also misted the flowers to give them some glimmer.

THANK YOU PURSES

I am having a SCENTSY gathering tonight and I wanted to come up with a small thank you favor that I could tuck away a small sample of the pumpkin spice scent. I took the brick and melted it down and poured it into my silicone star molds. I let them sit for 5 minutes just enough to film over I then placed them in the freezer for 10 minutes. I then took them out of the freezer and let them sit for an hour before I took them out and placed them in cellophane bags.

Using my SCAL2 Program I played around with some shapes until I came up with each purse design. I then cut them out on my Cricut Cutter.

You can get the Cut File for your cricut HERE

ENJOY!!

ONE FINE FISHERMAN

With all the signs I created for the yard hubby just had to have one close to his horseshoe pits and the lake. This so fits hinm perfectly. Now that the house is all built and finish work is done he will be able to take all the time for fishing now. You can download the SCAL file by clicking on the link below. You will need Sure Cuts A Lot to be able to cut the file.

FLOWERS GARDEN

Another flower bed sign. This one measures 15 x 4 1/4. Once agian I used material we had left from building our home on the lake. Hubby saves everything and I used to tease him, but you know what they are coming in handy these days. You can download the SCAL file by clicking on the link below. You will need Sure Cuts A Lot to be able to cut the file.

VALENTINE LOLLY POP BUCKET

Valentine weekend will be the weekend we are having a house full of company. We have a gathering every year about this time. We enjoy snowmobiling, sliding, ice skating and just the company of our friends.

All 3 of my kiddies are all grown up but my friends all have little ones still so I decided to make Valentine treats for the weekend together for them.

These delightful Lolly Pops  were found at Wal-Mart that came in a bunch of 6 for $1.00 and they fit perfectly. I created the closier in my Sure Cuts a lot 2. You can get the file HERE or to the right under free svg files. To give the matted look I trimmed the printed paper on all 4 sides just a little. When you open the file you will see two tabs. The first tab is the pink closier cut file and the second tab is the Printed Paper cut file.

Live, Laugh, Love 6x6 Tile with Stand

I created this Beautiful tile for the Secrete Santa gift swap at the bank for a co-worker. You can grab the cut file below You will need a cricut cutter and SCAL (sure cuts a lot software)to be able to cut the file

I am not sure if you have to have the font or not to be able to cut this just like the picture shows. The fonts that I used were Chelsea(live, laugh, love) and Civitype FG for the other part.
