RUSTIC/SHABBY CHIC WEDDING INVITATION

My sister is getting married this October in Florida. The theme is Rustic/Shabby Chic. I wanted to come up with an invitation that was simplistic, yet elegant at the same time. I feel I was able to capture the true them of the wedding in this invitation.
The lace trim adds the shabby chic, along with the key that is the central focus of the whole weeding.

RUSTIC WEDDING INVITATION SAMPLES

My sister is getting married next October 2014 and has chosen to do a rustic wedding. I love this style!! It will be rustic with some shabby chic that will lend to the elegance of the wedding. She asked me to design a couple invitations and I was more than tickled pink to oblige.

This first style, is a gatefold done in a lace trim. It ties closed with hemp and an embossed monogram.

The invitation opens up showing a beautiful lace image stamped in white pigment embossing ink. The stamp is a CTMH stamp.

This second sample also used the lace CTMH stamp. I added real lace trim to the top with some brown ribbon followed by the hemp.

THIS ONE WAS THE WINNER!!!!
It is simplistic, yet elegant enough as an invitation. The leaf will be incorporated throughout the wedding décor.

Blue Delight Wedding Invitation

I was asked to make their wedding invitations for my neighbor. Her colors were Horizon blue and Champaign. You can find printable instructions to create the invitation here. I did not include the matted measurements of the blue or white the only measurements are for the champion. The horizon blue and white is pretty easy to figure out as the blue is 1/4 size smaller than the champion and the white is 1/4 smaller than the blue sizes.
