KEURIG K CUP GIFT HOLDERS

I Love to give out special little gifts at Christmas . There are so many people I want to show my appreciation. This set was done up for a dear friend of mine. She wanted a way to show her fellow co-worker at school how much she appreciated them. These little Keurig K cup boxes where perfect.

I used my cricut cutter, cricut design space, and the CCR file HERE.

I finished off each of the boxes with a paper bow and a stamped tag.

I used the Cricut cartridge designed for CTMH "Artistie" to make the bow.

I used the Stamp Set's from CTMH
"Very Merry Christmas" for the tag

You can fill each one with coffee, tea or hot coco's for the season.

RUSTIC HANDMADE CHRISTMAS TREE

In an earlier post I shared all my beautiful handmade ornaments for this years small Christmas tree. I have 3 trees that I do and I wanted to see if I could decorate one of the trees with all handmade ornaments. I must say that this is simple BEAUTIFUL and the pictures do not do it, it's true justice.
The way they shimmer with the glitter is breath taking.
The butterfly blend in naturally with the rest of the ornaments.
To see how I made the ornaments visit the POST HERE.

FAMILY NAME SIGNS

These are my favorite Family name signs that I have made so far. They were designed in SCAL and layered on black 5.5 x 24 wood first layer with the last name in white vinyl and then the established date in light grey layered on top.

The designs are endless when i
t comes to wood and vinyl. With so many different types of font's out there it can be hard to choice just the right combination to use.

I will add individual family member names at the bottom on the next ones I design.

I created this new designed tile for a neighbor who is giving it as a gift. They wanted both Monograms for each side of the family. The tile is a marbleized tile with light browns and creams and works perfect with the brown vinyl. The B is done in gold vinyl to pop the B.

FALL QUOTE BLOCKS

At first this project was done from scrap wood hubby had from building our home. Well it became such a popular items I had to begin purchasing the wood to fill orders. These are done with 2 x 4's. The quotes are ones I designed in my SCAL program and cut with my cutter.

For each post I am going to try and now list the material used so that you can also create my items.

MATERIALS USED
2x4 wood - cut at the following lengths. 8, 7, 6, and 5
Acrylic paint - Poppy Orange, Brown, Ivory, and light brown
Vinyl - Off White, Orange, Brown
Ribbon - Olive green, Orange, Brown, Green Polka Dot
I purchased some fall floral stems and decorated the tops with little pieces from the floral stems

What a perfect gift to give to Family and Friends for the Holiday season. Fall is by far my favorite season of all.

BABY SHOWER INVITATIONS

It was a rainy day here in Northern Maine, which was much needed as our summer has been extremely warm with temps up in the 80's. I was tickled pink as this gave me the chance to work in the craft room on my nieces baby shower invitation. I did a quick on a couple weeks ago and just didn't warm up to it for the Garden theme we are going with.

I used a soft yellow (Champlain) and kraft cardstock from Bazzle coupled with a natural base. It was a perfect combination that matches the theme perfectly. I will be creating all other items to match.

I played around with several free fonts to get the perfect combination for our theme.

The inside of the invitation also includes a pocket for the gift registry information that the invitees can take with them. On the back of the registry (sorry no picture) is a list of items that the mother to be is looking to have.

The tag above is what I am making for each individual attending the shower. We will be placing all of them on the Advise Tree. I will have more photo's later on that. Each tag opens up so that each guest can leave some words of advise for the new mommy. We are calling it
" THE ADVISE TREE FOR THE NEW MOMMY TO BE"

This is the tree that we will be hanging them on. I will design several different styles of tags.

FAMILY CAMP SIGN

We are very lucky to have wonderful neighbors that watch over our dog "Harley Barley".  I wanted to give them a thank you gift and just wasn't sure what to do and this came to mind. I just LOVE working with SCAL and could sit for hours designing. I had hubby cut, sand and paint a piece of wood and this is what I came up with.

12 X 12 CHRIST TILE

9.75 X 7.75 MISC TILES

I found these 9.75 x 7.75 tiles at Lowes on clearance and decided I would try and use them for my vinyl creation. OH MY WORD they work perfect and are my number one seller at the consignment shop I am in at "Works of Heart"

The files I used is from "Ready 2 cut"

The above image can be found HERE and the below one HERE

12 x 12 MOTHERS DAY TILES

Mothers day is right around the corner so I wanted to make a couple tiles to be placed in the consignment store I have my items at "Works of Heart". I found the beautiful grey tile at Lowes and just new I would have to use the white vinyl. It worked perfect as it is just stunning. The pictures do not truly did them any justice. My camera is also not doing so well or it could be me the picture taker. I will need to research and learn how to take a better picture of my products.

Below are the two JPG files I created to import into "SCAL" or "Make the Cut"
To import just click on the trace icon at the top of the program, find the file and click on okay. The image has now been converted to an svg file for you to cut in your cutter. ENJOY!!!

Here is a youtube video on how to trace in SCAL

12 x 12 NEW MONOGRAM TILES

I think monogram gifts are special gifts for any family. I have designed two new 12 x 12 monogram tiles using vector art from "My Vinyl Designer"

I combined several of their files along with my favorite fonts to get just the right design. These are perfect gifts for any home warming gift, newly married couple or just because.

The first photo I used the vector art "As for me and my house"
I added our family name and the date we were established as a family.

The second tile I used the "Alphabet 6" along with some filigree element to the inside of the H to give it a decorative look. I picked my favorite fonts and added the words at the top and to the bottom of the monogram along with our family name in the center.

The white vinyl really pops out on these tiles. I usually use black but decided this time to try the white and I love the effect.

CALENDAR TILE

I am always looking for new ways to use a 12 x 12 tile and this one is awesome. I cut out the calendar file from  "Vinyl Ready Designs" and placed it on a 12 x 12 tile that I had extra for when we did our kitchen floor. Used with a dry eraser it makes the perfect counter calendar.

I personalized each one with the family name on the plates.

PRIMITIVIE STARS

It is the start of the craft fair season and I just love this time of year. I love to see all the great creations and new ideas that come out each year. Primitive decor is starting to be a leading decor in most homes here in Northern Maine.

At one of the booths I came upon these adorable little stars tied together in a row. I new just what I wanted to do with them.

I took them home and went to work. They came painted with no vinyl sayings and had not been antiqued and that was the finished look I wanted. I loved the shape of theses stars as they are thick and have a slightly different shape than most of the primitive stars on the market. They also had a beveled edge that gave them a more 3 dimensional look.

I sanded the edges with a nail file to give it an antiqued or worn look and then added vinyl lettering. Hubby is going to make me some more so that I can give them as Christmas gifts this season to my Family and Friends.

I had just the perfect spot for them. when you first enter my home you see the stairs, so I wanted everyone see see that my home is BLESSED by GOD.

So now every time you first walk in you see my little stars and the blessings of my home.

FAMILY MONOGRAM TILES 2

What a perfect home warming or wedding gift to give to a new couple.

This one was made for my sister and her new husband.

The monogram was purchased as an alphabet set from

IN MEMORY OF ASHLEE ROSE

Its been just over a year since Ashlee Rose left us to be home with Jesus. We miss her dearly every day and know we will all be together once again.

I wanted to create a memorial plaque for the family as we had a beautiful memorial to her this past September 3rd to Celebrate her life.

It was done here at my home in Northern Maine where I live on a lake.

It was simply beautiful.

MONOGRAHM TILES

What a perfect gift to give a new home owner or as a wedding gift for the new couple. I love creating these tiles and the designs are limitless. Hubby drills holes in each upper corners so that I can use leather straps to hang the tile. I design most of my creations in Powerpoint and convert it to a .jpg to import and trace in SCAL.
