I make a special item each year for the "Make a Wish" silent auction that is held every August in Saco, Maine. This year I wanted to attempt to crochet an afghan. Now those who know me, know that I like to work on projects I can finish in a short time, like a week being the longest. This one however, took me 3 months to complete.
I found the pattern HERE at "Leisure Arts"
I used the traditional red and blue and changed the white to sandstone to give it a primitive look. I love how it came out.
This will make a perfect gift for anyone.
