THE JILLY CROCHET HAT AND SCARF SET

I wish I had written the instructions for this beautiful set I put together using several pattern to get this elegant look.

This was also a special order that someone had asked me to make them a set, any design I wanted to surprise them with. It will stay a surprise pattern because unfortunately I cant remember what patterns I used to achieve this. I do know I used 2 strands of Red Hearts Boutique yarn!

TRIANGLE CROCHET SCARF

We all love the many scarf designs that have come out over the past two years. Scarfs are the new trend and the bigger the scarf the better. This one I made from a pattern I found on Etsy, is sure to keep you warm. The pattern was created by "Sincerely Pam" and the pattern name is "Shelby Triangle Cowl"

This was a special order that I made and she just loved it. I bet this would be perfect with white tassels also.

THREE TONE CROCHET SCARF SET

This season I created several crochet scarf and hat sets. This one was a special order. I love the white, gray and black together, it is very pretty.

The scarf is a simple V stitch pattern. Sorry I don't have the pattern as it was freehand made

The at was crocheted also using the v stitch to create the hat with the rim being a back-post stitch that was finished off with a scallop edging.

CROCHET BULKY ROPE SCARF

Arm KNitting has become extremely popular. However, I could never get the concept of it or learn how to achieve this beautiful look. I did find a great crochet pattern on Etsy by Kay Crochet Patterns. The pattern is called Crochet Bulky Rope Scarf

This pattern can be made with any type of bulky yarn. It works up very quick and is easy to assemble for whatever length you would like your scarf to be.

VINYL WORK QUOTES

This year I started a new carrier and truly LOVE IT!! With this new carrier came a new office that need my personal touch. The environment it one of constant encouragement and team work. I wanted to add some quotes to my office walls and shelf's that would signify the work environment and designed the wall frame and tiles below.

The sign above was created for a co-worker who had seen my other designs in my office and asked me to please make her one for her office. She found the quote she wanted and I designed the tile above. The tile is a 12 x 8.5 tile I found at home depot. It was the perfect size for this design.

The set above I designed in my Cricut Design space.

This was another perfect quote I found on the internet and went to work designing it the way I wanted it to look on a picture frame. This frame was one I had sitting around for years. I adhered the vinyl to the top of the frame, left the backing as was because I thought it was a perfect contrast for the look I was going for.

VINYL TILE FAMILY NAMES

Family name tiles make the perfect gift for any of your friends and family. I love to make these tiles as gifts and just love the endless designs you can create. Below are several that I have made for special orders. These can also be made on any type of service area from Picture frames to wood.

PUFFY COMFY COZY SLIPPERS

SLIPPERS, SLIPPERS, SLIPPERS! Everyone loves slippers. My hubby bought me a  new type of yarn this Christmas that I had never used. I had seen it, but never knew what to make with the yarn so I never bought it myself. When I open the Bernat Blanket yarn as one of my gifts this year, I was pleasantly surprised at what I could make. I just knew I had to make a pair of slippers with this comfy and soft yarn. So off to Pinterest I went. I found this amazing pin that was just perfect for making my slippers over at Owl Be Yarned

Off to work I went. Once I created my first pair and saw how comfy they were I purchased as many colors in this yarn to make several gifts for all my family and friends.

The above picture is for my 3 year old nephew.

I used several different hook sizes to achieve several different slipper sizes. The set below is a mommy and me set that was a special order I had made.

My slippers have become so popular that I am now selling them. I created my own packaging for when I sell my slippers or even just give them as gifts. It looks finished and I think presentation is everything.

No-Sew Tie Blankets

This year for the Christmas Season these gorgeous No-Sew Tie Blankets are what is trending. I made several as you can see below for many family and friends this season. I also had a gathering at the house for my Charity Foundation Sew Many Hearts for Giving so that we could make these and give them as charity items this winter season. We were able to distribute over 50 of these blankets to many organization from Cancer Centers to Hope and Justice homes for battered women.

You can make these in several sizes and the fleece fabric combinations are endless. There are several helpful sites on the internet to show you how to make these warm and cozy blankets.

The two sets below were made for my great nephew and niece for Christmas. They make the perfect gift with a set of pj's and a book to read.

CROCHET INFINITY TWO TONE SCARF AND HEAD WARMER

I love grays and blacks together and just knew what I was going to created with the yarn I had purchased from Joann Fabrics. I wanted to create a set that also included boot cuffs. Once the set was completed I had just the perfect person that I would be giving this set to.

My Sister Beth was very happy to receive this set as a birthday gift.

Cluster Stitch Crochet Hat & Scarf set

I was asked to make a crochet hat set for a friends daughter. I wanted to do one I have not worked on yet and one with pinks and purples. She also loved the color grey.

BUTTERFLY CARD SET

I am a fan of both Stampin Up and Close to My Hearts products. When I saw the new butterfly stamp set and coordinating punch from Stampin Up I new what I wanted to make.

The Stamp set is called "Papillon Potporri". The matching punches are "Bitty Butterfly" and "Elegant Butterfly" and can all be purchased from Stampin Up. To give the butterfly's a 3-d effect, I first stamped the butterfly's directly onto my card, I then stamped a bunch from the same color card stock and used the punches to get my 3-d butterfly's. I adhered them to the coordinating colors on the cards and bent the wings up.

The label is from Close to My Heart and is called "You Mean the World to Me Occassions". I used the Artistie Cricut Cartridge that you can also purchase through Close to My Heart to make the label and matting. I then stamped it with the sentiments.

I finished the card off with ribbon. Each one is left blank on the inside so that you can write your own sentiments and/or message inside.
